Flamecraft Resource Checklist

Every Flamecraft turn begins with gathering the right goods for the shops and dragons you intend to fire up later. The digital demo automates inventory, yet new players still lose points because they forget what they already committed to a shared shop row. This resource checklist is a structured worksheet you can keep on a tablet or print while learning Monster Couch’s adaptation.

How to use the checklist

Create one row per resource type you expect to touch this session. Columns can include In hand, Needed for enchant, Dragon bonus, and Discard or trade. At the gather phase, update counts before you spend movement or actions. If a shop requires a good you marked as empty, pause and reroute—often cheaper than undoing an enchantment chain explained in How to Enchant.

Run the checklist alongside the Demo Walkthrough the first time you visit each district. Note which shops appear frequently in your seed so future runs start faster.

Sample checklist blocks

Basic goods track: list standard resources the demo introduces first. Mark a star when a good powers a high-reputation enchantment from Combo Strategy. Shop commitment track: write shop names down the left column and assign required goods across the gather rounds you have left. Dragon support track: when you hire from Artisan Dragons, record which resources that dragon discounts or duplicates.

Solo versus local group usage

In solo mode, keep one checklist for the entire campaign week; reset only when the in-game calendar advances or you restart the demo save. In local multiplayer with up to five players, give each person a mini-column on the same sheet so table talk stays short—who is supplying bread or plant, who is holding crystal for enchant costs, who is reserving potion or coins for the final Fire Up toward reputation. Planned online matchmaking will not change how goods work locally, but metas may shift once remote tables stabilize.
